I am building a new PC 

Reason : sold my last one(the one in my description /  account) 


PRIMARY USE : GAMING  1440p at 144hz 

Secondary use :video editing 1080p

Also : writing blog (k i don't need a pc for that) and some college stuff

Budget  INR 150K(USD 2000or so) 

Favorite color combo :black/red and white/red

I would save up on the RAM and motherboard, 2666-2400 is enough and most expensive boards aren't worth it. Also get a lower wattage power supply 750W is too much for one card 650-550 is more than enough.

32GB is too much for 1080p editing, stick with 16GB upgrade later if you need to.

A few comments.

 

The MSI Z17OA Gaming M7 mother board is a pretty good alternative at a bit cheaper price. Its worth comparing to that Asus board.

 

1070 is adequate for playing 1440p. Not sure about at 144hz.

 

I've never used any of those cases, but I'm digging the fractal design layouts lately.

 

16gb DDR4 2400 ram is suitable for gaming

Are in the same price  range 

Also fractal design is not available in India 

K... I am looking at 3200 mhz because the difference is rs 500($7)
