I have been getting pretty confused on what I'm supposed to do with my Gsync monitor. I have an Acer Predator X34. (980 Ti Hybrids in SLI)

Does Vsync disable Gsync? I know Vsync gives some input lag as well. Though when trying to turn off Vsync in the NCP, it for some reason always turns itself back on. Even if set it to Application controlled, it always switches back into the on position.

If I'm understanding right, don't I want to disable it completely somehow? One thing I'm not understanding either is, my monitor has a 100hz refresh. So if I'm getting more than that, will Gsync cap me at 100? Or will I still be able to get above?

I feel like I never go above 100  sometimes when I should, though that could be Vsync capping it? Sorry if I'm being confusing, I'm a bit confused myself! Not sure what to do exactly in this situation. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
