Hey guys, I game on a 3440x1440 monitor. Is it true that pascal has a feature that fixes stretching on these ultra wide monitors, or is that just for VR?

If so, does it automatically work or do I need to enable it?

I think that's just for VR...........

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Simultaneous Multi-Projection (SMP) is what you're referring to.  It's not for ultra-wide, it's for multiple physical displays (in the case of VR one for each eye), by rendering them separately (but at the same time) and on different planes as opposed to a single plane render that is then broken up onto the multiple displays.

And to my knowledge it requires explicit implementation by the game developer..so unless VR REALLY takes off...don't expect to see it used much.
