HELP! with networking

Hi, guys my network has been running very slowly lately even though I just upgraded my router and my modem. I pay for 100 gigs up and 100 down but if I go into any online game my ping is over 500 on ethernet and 600 on wifi. Does anyone have a solution to this because this has been happening for a long time now and I would love to fix the problem?

Have you tried switching back to your previous router/modem?

If that doesn't solve the issue, it's very likely that it's your ISP's fault. Have you tried contacting them and see if they can fix the problem?

Yes lehti the reason why i switched to newer hardware is because my old hardware was running just as slowly and switching back only makes my ping worse

I think you are meaning 100 megs not gigs.

Sounds like bad signal quality or a far away server. Try going to http://www.pingtest.net/ and see what you get there for a server close to you.

Lurick I don't think so I play on servers hosted where i live and my ping is still 500-600 but thanks for the suggestion. on the pingtest website it said my ping is 30 but that doesnt matter because my ping in online video games is 20 times higher
