Livestream lag?

Hello,

I am having some trouble when I want to watch a live stream on twitch and play games at the same time. 

I am watching a live stream on my second monitor and playing games on my main monitor. It feels that I am lagging but ingame it says that I'm around 250 fps but it feels like 60. It is annoying because I got a 144 hz monitor. It's like that on other games to. When I close the Twitch tag it stops lagging. One thing to note is that I'm viewing at "source". 

What do I need to do? New hardware? I got a i7 4790k At stock speed and its is not overheated. One ram stick 8b at 1500mhz. Okey graphics card. And a hhd.

I got a 144hz monitor I need 144 fps or more so it can feel normal.
