Computer will not connect to internet

Godzilla4

Guys I need help with a bestbuy computer. It was bought around xmas time last year. Its my grandparents computer. Yeah I know, that the first problem right there lol. But on to the real concern, the computer no longer is connected to the internet, wired or wireless. When troubleshooting it says it doesn't have an IP address. When I open up Ethernet Status, IPv4 and IPv6 both show "No network access" The wireless receiver does pick up all the surrounding wifi including my 2 home but still has no internet.

I do have Discord, TS3, Vent, Skype to use to chat and troubleshoot.

Also does anyone know if I download Win10 from MS and reinstall it on the computer and use the OS key thats already on it, will it let me?

Sounds like issue with Router. Try a factory reset on the router or bypass and plug the computer directly into the modem.

Well I'm currently online with my phones, ipads, this computer and 3 others just fine. Also their router is fine I believe since my phone and tablets connect and show full speed when doing a speed test.

Lol sounds similar to my issue when my grandad's computer wasn't connecting to the internet, it too wasn't able to acquire IP address. We live in the same house and everything else was working. It turned out that ISP's router had limit of max 2 IPs, which were taken by another router and my computer that I've connected directly when I was experimenting with something.

I will try that LabRat, and maremp, the computer had internet when I set it up back when we had it. It shouldn't be down out of no where. Also my grandparents have a different IP than I do so. I also pay for the max my has in my area.
