Hey everyone,

I am looking for good speakers for my new PC build that are under $150.

Thanks in advance.

My bad one last one that I forgot. The Edifier R1700BTs are $150 but I've loved my pair. I use them for hooking up my phone to play music and they have very nice sound. https://www.amazon.com/Edifier-R1700BT-Bluetooth-Bookshelf-Speakers/dp/B016PATXSI/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1465687361&sr=1-3&keywords=edifier

Edifier also has this pair https://www.amazon.com/Edifier-R1280T-Powered-Bookshelf-Speakers/dp/B016P9HJIA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1465687361&sr=1-1&keywords=edifier for $100 but since I do not own it I cannot vouch for its sound. I expect that it sounds fine though. The $150 Edifiers are the best out of the bunch in terms of sound quality but they do lack some low end response but its not that bad.

You could get a Pair of Mackie CR3s which are really accurate but don't have any bass for $100. https://www.amazon.com/Mackie-CR3-Creative-Reference-Multimedia/dp/B00KVEIY4E/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1465687213&sr=1-1&keywords=cr3

If you want base then I'd go with these Logitech Speakers, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VAHYTG/ref=psdc_172471_t1_B0151K2AB0 I have a pair of both and they work fine. I miss the low-end when I game on the CR3s which is why I got the Logitechs and they're quite nice.

Are there smaller ones? Sorry, just don't want too much space being taken on my desk.

Not as good, size matters for speakers.
