My computer has been crashing at random times.  I have not found a specific task that makes it crash, it just does.  I have ran memtest86 for 18 hours and passed 8 test just fine.  I ran driver verifier and it found a faulty driver ,wifi adapter, so i removed it.  Time passes and i start crashing again.  I have tried a system restore to no avail.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you ever used any Windows "optimization" programs?

If so you might have destroyed some system files, since most of the errors are related to ntoskernel or system files (*.sys)

Open an elevated command promt and type:

sfc /scannow

You might be able to recover broken files.

If nothing else helps, try to run your system with a live version of linux (ubuntu, mint, etc.) and watch if you have have problems  occurring, to make sure its not a hardware related problem.

If you don't experience any errors with linux, you might be better off, if you clean install windows on your system.

I ran sfc /scannow with no problems.  I also tried using another windows drive i had and it crashed too.  Through playing around though I found that when I use 2 Ram sticks at once the system crashes, but individually they work just fine.  Any suggestions on why that could be?
