Hello there :)

English is not my first language so bare with me :D

So the problem was that I purchased used GPU and wanted to test it in my MSI NF520T-C35 motherboard. The GPU wasn't working(didn't output signal) so I went to forums and find out that BIOS update could help. So I went to MSI offiacial page and downloaded the latest bios update. After I put BIOS into my usb stick and opened msi special program for bios update. When I confirmed that I want to update my BIOS a tabble popped uped saying that my BIOS does not match the motherboar's bios model but I duoble cheched the bios version and compatability and went to proccede the procedure. After that  the screen showed bios update screen and after few seconds the screen went black and rebooted. And that is the end of the story :(

So my question is should I even try fixing the motherboard because failed BIOS flash is most likly the end for motherboard (althought I heard that putting bios on cd the motherboard will self recover: https://www.technibble.com/how-to-recover-from-a-bad-bios-update/)

All advises are appreciated :)

I dont think a motherboard does not detect a gpu because of the bios?

You tried the gpu in another pc?

Myself and may others have bricked MSI motherboards using the software tool like you did. I have never heard of someone successfully doing it. Sorry for the bad luck

Oh ok, I misunderstood. Still not sure that there's much you can do. I'm not an expert in this field though so hopefull someone else can help out.

Unfortunately, there probably isn't much you can do. I'm not overly familiar with the mobo to know if the bios chip is soldered on or not.  But you can try replacing it, I mean the mobo is dead either way, so it's not like you can hurt it more.  http://www.bios-chip24.com/epages/63730052.mobile/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/63730052/Products/2808&Locale=en_US

Not that it helps now, but this is why I really love gigabyte and their dualBios design. The bios on my z87 board has been corrupted 3 times, but luckily the backup reflashes and fixes it.

Best of luck. Here's hoping the bios chip is plug and play, not solder and fodder.
