PS4 Controller not syncing?

Go to solution Solved by TheBestUserName,

Do the two cables you've tried include the one that came with the system?  I have multiple cables, but I've found that the original cable is by far more reliable.

Try charging it on something else... your computer, cell phone charger, etc.  Let it sit plugged in for a good 15-20 minutes, then plug it back into the PS4 to see if it'll pair up.

Hi everybody,

I'm not sure what to do.  My PS4 controller blinks white 30 times every time I try and press the PS button at the home screen.

Ive tried resetting the controller on the back and ive tried two different USB cables.

Does the controller just need to charge or something?

Thanks for any help you can give.

I left it plugged in with the original cable into the PS4 on rest mode and will try it when I get back home
