I am looking to build a system dedicated to running dedicated game servers and voice servers but i dont know what parts to use 

 

Must haves

 - 8GB Memory

 - SSD (don't really need masses of storage)

 - 500GBP Budget (no peripherals)

You're not getting much with that budget. Voice server you could probably get a RPI3

This is like 100$ under your budget so you could probably upgrade your CPU to some quad core or even exchange the motherboard and the CPU out for some older gen xeon that would work just as well.

Depending on the game server you could get away with really cheap hardware. Source games require almost nothing to run, but other more intensive games may need more power.

 

Also your home internet connection may not be strong enough to host servers with a lot of people, I wouldn't recommend having over 10 people on a home internet connection, so renting a server may be a bit more costly, but you will have a better expeience in the games.
