So after setting up new PC with the 6700k and a MSI Z170A G43 I loaded up a Cinebench run and watched CPU-Z for the voltage, it shot up to 1.44 volts. Nothing has been adjusted in the bios

What exactly is Intel thinking putting stock voltage to such a high amount? Surely it is overkill to have it run at 1.4, 1,3 I understand..

No question to ask really, just a rantish
