Providing the info listed in the sticky would make decisions a lot easier

Ive heard that the force 3 isnt very reliable. Itd serve better as a cache drive imo

A 20' monitor wont be in 1080p.

Do you absolutely need a modular psu? A 550w xfx psu would be cheaper and still perform great. Theyre rebrabded seasonic psus.

Have you considered the NZXT source 210 elite?

I'd drop the 3770K to a 3570K for not much of a noticeable difference especially in gaming and spend the money on a range of things. As NewKid said - that monitor isn't a 1080P monitor if that's what you were aiming for. Do you really need a DVD drive? Do you have another computer that you can just build ISO's from?

Lastly I would look at spending as much as you can on a GPU - it'll mean you'll have a better time recording while playing games.

Drop the 3770k for a 3570k, try to get a higher GPU than the 660ti if you can. Sell your current monitor and get a 21.5" - 24" monitor for 1920x1080 resolution, as they have stated above that 20" isn't in 1080p. And if you could, try to squeeze a bit more into the SSD and change it from a 60GB to 120GB for additional storage space.

I think that is a good decision to drop the 3770k to and get a 3570k and just overclock to get the same Ghz I run a 660ti and 3570k fine

I'd recommend swapping out the case with a Shinobi Bitfenix which has a window and is at the same price as the 300R non-windowed version.

It just also looks a lot cleaner and more easily customizable with the colored accents and logos that you can get

3770k, Asrock Extreme 4, 16GB Dominator Plat, AX760i, 250GB BX100, 1.5TB Seagate, Win 7 Home Prem

Yes get the 3570k. I can record, edit, play the game i'm recording and render at the same time while only reaching about 90% usage. What's slowing me down is my SSD, lame write speeds of about 150MB/s.. :S

what SSD u got?

is intel 330 fast? as for budget? is it faster than 150MB/s? :X

I have the OCZ Vertex 3 120GB. I wouldn't know if the 330 is fast. You should just Google and see what others get for their Disk Marks. I'd go for two or four WD Red's in raid 0 or 10.

It's not a Samsung 840 Pro or OCZ Vector let's put it that way. However for what you pay, it's really good :)

Intel SSDs probably have the highest reliability reputation.

As Glenwing said - they're reliable. I've never head of an Intel drive failure personally.
