What do you think?

Hello everyone

This is going to be for my friend first build its going to be expensive one

GPU: GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G  (Specifications)       -( Maybe after a time will be adding another one on SLI )-

PSU: EVGA 650W GQ Power Supply  (Specifications)   -( I think that is enough for the whole system and will be enough when will be adding and the second graphics card )-

CASE: Zalman Z11 Plus HF1 Z11PHF1_b_01_0.jpg  (Specifications)  -( Any other suggested case will be good )-

There aren't even very many consumer GPUs over $1000!

If you have half that, you can get a nice GTX 1070, or the RX 480

(Neither of which are released with aftermarket coolers yet)

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

That CPU doesn't exist!

Though you linked to the 6600k, which does clearly exist (and is a great CPU)

RX 480 will be around 200-250 dollars, will be similar to the GTX 1060, and will easily outperform a GTX 960/970.

Also, if you/he are considering going in SLI, consider forking out the money now for a better performing GTX 1080 or AMD Polaris equivalent rather than dealing with the issues of SLI/CF.
