Hay guys,

I was wondering if anybody could help me, I have a new company workstation with dual xeons in they have got 22cores each. When I'm not using this beast to render images I'm going to throw it at folding along with my pair of 980ti's.

The problem I have run into tho is the windows F@H client doesn't allow me to throw more than 32 cores at a single folding slot / Work unit. (first world problems)

Now to get around this I have just assigned a few more Folding slots to make use of the extra cores. But that is obviously hurting the PPD due to the quick return bonus.

Does anybody know of a way to assign say 80 cores to a single work unit?

Currently the Xeons are adding up to approximately 250 000 but i think they could to a little more if they were all helping towards the same quick return bonus.

Thanks for your help guys

No idea on how to fix your (first world) problem, but I'm going to follow this because - just for kicks and giggles - when I get my folding farm/cluster up and running (whenever that happens to be) I want to compare it to a beast system like this. :D

I'd say make a bootable linux drive and install fah there and chack if it is the same on linux. if it isn't then it's a windows limitation if it's the same then it's a F@H limitation
