The Fanboy Edition gets VERY hot - you can expect it to get to about 85*C and start throttling down

Not if he actually adjusts the fan curve and doesn't use stock settings...

Watch jayz2centz's video on it, it's' not as loud as you might think, definitely quieter than the older reference cooler design and temps drop by a good margin.

But yes I agree, should of waited for board partner custom cooled cards or water cooling.

Putting a crappy blower cooler on a 200W GPU is a bad idea (considering the autoOC function takes it to 1800 and beyond as seen above)

The AutoOC should not have been there, the card and cooler are ideally meant for stock speeds. Because that is pretty much what happens when it throttles, just goes back to stock lol

84*C at stock when it throttles and reaches equilibrium

Damn bro...do u thnk my problem is relatd to next nvidia driver which is coming.??

Probbably drivers won't fix that.

Founders edition is kinda crapy. It won't cool your GPU as it should.

You need to create custom fan curve if you don't want high temps or to get bottleneck.

What about water cooling?

Yeah that's true with warranty.

Should go with EVGA card because they allow you to change stock cooler with anything else you like, as long as you don't make any real damage to the card.

I guess you will just have to set custom fan curve. But as long as your card doesn't go over 80°C, you are jut fine.

Keep in mind that if card will be overheating, it will lower clock and start throttling, to prevent any real damage to card.

If there will be serious heat issue, card will also just shut down before any real damage take effect.

Don't worry too much ... those cards have some smart software looking out for health of it :)
