Displays for animating

Pretty much I'm a animator (generally in Autodesk Maya) and I would like more screen space to put things such as the motion graph on and still have a decent size Viewport.

 

So my question is would you guys recommend getting another monitor or going to a 21:9 monitor.

 

I have always been tempted by a 21:9 and it would probably save me some desk space but it would be really useful

to have just a vast amount of screen space with an 2nd 27" monitor. I'm pretty much open to all suggestions so fire away.

Well I think getting another 27' monitor is a good idea because you already have one.
