$500 Laptop

I'm not into laptop's at all but my buddy is wanting to get one. 

So what could he get for around $500?

 

Will play older games (Skyrim at the newest)

Uses FL Studio quite a bit

4gb ram minimum

500GB HD?

Good battery life, Haswell maybe?

Possibly Asus?

Not too sure on screen size or resolution.

This is on sale today, it is $700, but with the free tablet it offsets the price to $580. Not exactly in budget, but if you can convince your friend quick enough then it might work.
