Ok, now I'm not super knowledgeable in this area, so I dont know how to do that, especially since the furthest I can get is too the windows installation screen. any chance you could either walk me through the process, or link me to a good guide? Thanks again for your help.

This looks very promising :)

Hi,

So I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum here, but recently I bought a D-Link dwa-182 so I could hook up my new PC to wifi. It worked well for the first few days, then all of a sudden my computer started getting errors that would cause it to crash every 5 minutes or so, (got 4 different errors, 'DRIVER_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL(rtrwlanu.sys)', 'DRIVER_PAGE_IN_FAULT_IN_FREED_SPECIAL_POOL (rzudd.sys)' and two others I didnt get the chance to write down. I tried uninstalling the drivers, but they only really showed up in the program files and not in the control panel, so instead I decided to just refresh my PC and get rid of everything, then start fresh (I assumed my OS should have stayed on). Then about half way through the refresh, there was a pop-up that said that there was an error in the refresh. Now, all my PC does is briefly display 'ASUS', go black for a few seconds, then repeat. I'm not sure if this is just because I need to reinstall my OS, or if my hard drive is screwed now. Any help would be welcome, I am freaking out.\\

Thanks

I think you need to reinstall Windows, but other than that I don't have any reason to believe anything is damaged

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Ok, so I'm trying to reinstall windows 10, but it will not allow me to select my SSD as the drive to install on, because it is of the 'GPT partition style'. I tried clicking format, but that doesnt fix the issue. Any suggestions?

Yes, you need to set it to the MBR format.  I'm not sure if Windows offers a way to do this but I know gparted in Ubuntu lets you pick that sort of thing
