Does anyone know the difference between these boards beside the looks? The price difference is small but i don't see the difference in specs. Help is much appreciated.

My first thought would be the power phases but they actually appear to be the same. Someone correct me if i'm wrong the the only difference i see is the I/O cover. Seems a little steep $25.00 extra dollars but .....

Yeaaaa that's the only real difference i'm seeing as well. There is a notable difference between the Gaming 5/6 compared to the Gaming 7 but 5 and 6 seem to be about the same. Last generation on Z97 there was the Gaming 5 and 7 but no 6 so maybe they just figured they would offer the Gaming 5 with the IO shroud for a few extra bucks and call it the Gaming 6? It seems kind of silly but that's how it appears to be.
