I've had a PC for awhile now and I wanted to upgrade to a new graphics card, but that required a new mobo. So I went to Amazon checked some out and found one that fit what I needed.

First off, I didn't know at the time that DDR3 and 4 had different slot but it's not a big deal.

The big deal is that it has the wrong cpu socket... For 6th gen cpus...

I have a 5th gen. And I don't believe I can send the mobo back.

What do?

Try to send it back first.

Otherwise, you've got yourself a random MOBO. You'll need to buy a new CPU or another MOBO
