Need for speed ps4 controller

So I can't use my ps 4 controller 

with need for speed (2015)

my mates Xbox one controller work but the ps4 one doesnt

i have the Xbox controller drivers 

and the ds4windows and still nothing

Iv also tried the hiding the controller trick that lets u use the controller in dark souls 3 and no joy 

any ideas ?

only the xbox 360, xbox one and PS2 accessories work with the PC. Console controllers are not cross compatible (PS3 controller will not work with xbox360 and vice versa this also applies to PS4 and XBone)

PS3 and PS4 controllers can work. They use BT as connection method and you can get custom drivers and tweaking software to make them act like xbox controller (or rather use XInput).

I was aware that such drivers exist for the PS3 controller, but I wasn't aware of the same for the PS4 controller! You gave me some more useful information, thanks!

Haven't tested this myself but I've heard that PS4 controller is much more compatible than PS3.
