Case & Mobo fitting

Will the Corsair Obsidian 450D be able to mount the Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z (EATX) mobo

 

I am not sure if they will be compatible even though the 450D says it can fit EATX ... can anyone confirm?

Yes this will work. If you look on Corsair's site for the 450D and click on it, they have a black and red build inside their 450D to showcase it. The mobo they use in that build is the Asus Maximus V Extreme which is 12"x10.7" (your Mobo is 12"x10.6") so they would be extremely close in size.

i didn't realize that is a Maximus V Extreme-Z built in the 450D, thank you for pointing that out.
