GTX 970 Problems

So whenever I unplug my HDMI cable from my 970, my graphics card goes through is wierd phase where it wont display any video for a while. This has happened ever since I got the card. After it first diplays video, it will work fine until I unplug the HDMI cable. I have unplugged the card from the motherboard and tried RAM which worked one time before but not this time.

 

Any help getting my graphics card fixed and displaying video again is appreciated.

AMD 9370

990FXA from gigabyte

Corsair vengence (2×4)

GTX 970
