So, I had gotten a free GTX 770 at Dreamhack Austin. I decided to replace my current GPU (R9 280X). After Installing the 770 I tried a small overclock. The overclock halved my frames so I reverted the overclock. My frames got slightly better but didn't really go back to what they were. I had read somewhere to reinstall Windows to fix the GPU. So I refreshed Windows. That didn't really do anything. Later I was getting ping spikes and thought it may be due to me not reinstalling my wireless adapter's driver after the refresh. So I did. After I did I had to do a restart, after the restart, it was like I had just installed another new GPU. The screen resolution was wrong and my moniter was back at 60hz (from 120hz strobed). S I opened GeForce Experience and it said it didn't have any drivers. So I re-downloaded drivers and it said I couldn't install because I didn't have anything compatible. Tried a bunch of stuff to fix it and it didn't work. So I decided to just put the old 280X back in. Same problem PC is not recognizing there is a GPU or something of that sort. The GPU is not listed in device manager. I don't know what to do. HELP

1. Download an utility to remove completely the drivers for both of your graphics cards(CCC and GFE)

2. Reinstall the NVIDIA drivers if Windows doesn't do it automatically

3. Try plugging your monitor to another display port in the back of your 770

4. Change your card to another PCIE slot

5. Just a reminder: When overclocking and specially if an overclock goes wrong, DIAL IT BACK before powering off or restarting the system. It is also NEVER a good idea to check option boxes that say something like "overclock on startup".
