Start up

Hi all,

Every time i finish using my pc, I like to put my computer to sleep. The next time I wake my computer up, it starts up from start up screen. Sometimes it wakes up in the password screen, is this normal?

Yes, most likely it went to hibernate.

your probably just hitting a key or clicking the mouse when you move it or type to wake up the computer (which brings up the password screen)

Yea, that's what i want, to open in the password screen when i press a key.

Windows logo>power options> change plan settings>change advanced power settings>sleep>hibernate after>never.

Hmm. When it goes through the post and stuff like a regular startup, are all your windows and stuff still open?

Yea, programs are still open, its just that the next time i open my computer, it starts up in the startup screen and sometimes in the password screen.

It's normal if the hibernate option is enabled, but since it's not, it's a little strange.
