Help upgrade suggestion

Hello guys, I have been thinking about upgrading my r9 280x that I have had for almost 3 years and don't know what to choose. I don't have a huge budget but 300 to 350 dollar range would be perfect. I have a 550 watt psu so not sure how much that will limit my options. Thanks

If you are OK with used hardware, I think the market is good for high-end GeForce 900 series cards.  If you can stretch it just a tad, you might even get a 1070 with that

Or wait for whatever AMD is working on.  Polaris should be coming out rather soon!

I'm curious to see what AMD has, always been a fan of their stuff, I might just have to wait and see. I've only ever had one Nvidia card and it died on me in about a year...
