long story short, im doing an energy related school project and am doing something related to wind energy. wondering if there is any place to buy extremely cheap fans in bulk.

Surely not PC fans? Hardware stores, recycling centers (if you would use PC fans), Hong Kong, China...

 

Why you need to buy fans? Wouldn't you need wind force meter for finding locations and heights and calculating energy different wind speeds could provide?
