Red Engine 3 (The Witcher 3) visual problems

Hey guys,

just wanted to share some experience and also asking for yours respectively.

I have my factory overclocked Gigabyte GTX 960 running on additional 150 mhz on the core and the memory, which results in a healthy base/boost-clock of 1315/1378mhz for the core and 7160mhz for the memory. I stress-tested this configuration extensively, and it prove to be rock solid in terms of stability.

But now I'm playing The Witcher 3 and every now and then (mostly in scenarios with intense lighting fx) I experience some minor flickering and also some red and green artifacting. Now as a seasoned gamer, I know where the green artifacting may come from (problems with the memory overclock). But I have no idea where the other minor visual errors come from. The weird thing is, that I haven't had any problems in any other games I played.

Maybe the Red Engine doesn't like overclocked video cards? Or is it a stability issue (would be even more weird)?

Thx for reading!

I can say that Withcher 3 is no friend of overclocking. I had to turn down the overclock on my 770 tha I had had for over a year because the game would freeze up solid. I never experienced an visual problems though, only freezing.
