100% disk help

My friend's computer has 100% disk usage, whenever he plays a game or opens a program, I used malware bytes , defragged the computer
its not a harddrive issue because i tried using another hard-drive and it was still at 100% disk usage

But in safe mode (networking) He is able to start and load up the games really quickly like there is no problems with the computer

What OS Pc running?

And Do you installed Windows on new HDD?

i closed all the background services , and installed a fresh copy on the new hdd

And on Windows 10 there's a an background service called: System and compressed memory  Which saves computer state before sleeping so that he could boot faster to that state after sleep, So if HDD is slower and older SATA( like 2) could lead to this problem. Try installing Windows 8.1

don't worry guys , we fixed the problem it was the sata cables

OHHH(Caps Lock ) those SATA cables!!!! What's was the problems with SATA cables?

The hard drive is showing its age, tell your friend to pick up a new hard drive. You can get a 500GB drive for about $60 and a 1TB one for about $100

Dude, HDD wasn't a problem. Read whole topic and then comment Those SATA cables ......
