First off, let me know if i'm posting this on the wrong sub forum and I can create a new one.

Anyways... I've built a lot of computers in my life but never really made one that was absolutely gorgeous and I want to achieve this goal.

I for sure need help finding all the corresponding bits and ends to make everything about it rig match up and be pretty.

I'm planning on getting a 1070 and i high tier i7. But as for fans,LEDs, Power supply, water cooling (never done water cooling before), and maybe custom braided cables, I really don't know where to start.

A blue theme is what I have in mind, if anyone can suggest different places to get these things, I would be very grateful.

One last note: When building computers I've always had issue with getting the majority of the psu cables to reach, in a cable management standpoint. In Linus' video, ORIGIN PC Un-build Log - Showcase & Teardown, that case has about 2 million cable management holes to go through, that seemed very appealing to me. But maybe if there are some other ones or hell maybe even some simple tips that would help me with that situation im all ears.

Thanks in advance!

-Matt

I'm going to move this to the new builds planning section actually :)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

In Linus' video, ORIGIN PC Un-build Log - Showcase & Teardown,

That case is not available unless you buy the entire computer off origin pc :(

I've got a build in mind though. White and light blue.

Check out http://custom.cablemod.com for Cablemod's configurator, choose the RMx set of cables and paint! I recommend White / Blue one for one. Also pick up one of their white LED strips. Cablemod cables are expensive though. Probably will set you back $100 for the entire set. But damn do they look pretty.

And here's the parts list for the rest of the stuff.

A comment on the 1080: We'll find custom cooled cards in a short time and you'll be able to grab one that goes well with the build (I like EVGA's custom cooled one that they're going to be selling), so I would wait. I included it in the list to give an idea of how much it will cost (probably less, we're looking at $630 for custom cooled cards).

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

WOW! You are a legend, thank you so much for taking the time to do this for me! Are there any light blue fans you could recommend? I really like the white and light blue idea.

I do have light blue fans to recommend, in fact.

These are 140mm ultra quiet fans from noiseblocker. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noiseblocker-case-fan-nbblacksilentfanxk1

Happy building!

PS If you need 120mms since those NBs don't come in that size, try these out from Antec.

And use ths ram kit instead of the black ones. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmk16gx4m2b3000c15b
