Strangest Network connectivity

Hi all,

 

So from time to time my Ethernet cuts out. The wireless is fine. Sometimes it just randomly cuts out but i have noticed a small pattern; Sometimes it is random but other times it it cause by me loading team speak or a multiplayer game. Sometimes it happens randomly in the game. What i have noticed is that it can be fixed by a reboot or even putting it to sleep and waking it up again.

 

This is super strange and is really starting to bug me.

 

Any thoughts?

What antivirus do you have and have you checked what speedtest.net shows?

7mbps down and 0.78mbps up. Not a new cable but the thing is it can be fixed by a reboot even

have you done any recent firmware updates?

On the router? No never

Check if there are any updates for your router (fingers crossed) if you have got a spair cable lying around it wouldnt hurt, process of elimination

Yeah ill have to borrow one but ill look into the router updates
