Are you sure you didn't somehow install it wrong? Maybe you need to plug a cable into it somewhere? Or maybe it was a bad enough card that broke your system.

Did you bump any other cables in the system loose? You did plug the monitor into the graphics card and not the motherboard, right?

no, cable management was good in my case so there's no cables near the pcie slot. Of course I plugged it in the gpu

In that case, you should also try plugging the monitor into the motherboard. It might be trial and error until the system sorts itself out, mine was a little strange to get working at first.

Done that already, still no power on keyboard, monitor and mouse (when GPU is in PCIE slot

Like I said before, it could be a dead card unless you can test it elsewhere.
