Windows says error printing...

I have windows 8, and whenever i print on my hp 2600n it says error printing even though it printed...how can i fix this so i can tell when it actually didn't print as my printer is hooked up over the network and not in my room...

 i7-4770K, Corsair H100i, Asus Maximus VI Hero, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB, Samsung 840 120GB, 2xSeagate Barracuda 1TB, EVGA GeForce GTX 780 ACX Cooler, NZXT Phantom 820, Corsair Professional 750W 80 PLUS Gold, 2xASUS VH238H Build Log- http://bit.ly/1bWZKu6

Try to delete the printer drivers and the device and go to devices and printers to add a network printer and put in your driver cd/download the driver and choose the driver location to install the drivers.

Did you install the HP software/updating firmware to see if that helps?
