I just bought 2 Noctua NF-F12 for my Corsair H100I GTX and after install the fans, the pump on the cooler died (the pump sounds like its struggling to run and has become really loud and truns off before it even reaches the bios. I also cant hear any liquid moving around in the rad) I have the 3 pin power for the pump running straight from a molex adapter and the 2 fans were connected to the wires from the pump, not to the motherboard. I thought the fans would be fine to plug straight into the H100I but are they too much of a strain on the cooler?

When I had a H100I I put some Noctua fans on it and put them strait to the motherboard and I never experienced any issues whatsoever, so that's what I would recommend doing in your situation.
