Help: Samsung app downgrade

If you backed up your phone recently, you can pull down an older version of the app from your backup. Uninstall the newer version first, then "recover" the app from your backup service of choice.

 

Barring that, there are plenty of apps (most require root access) on the Google Play store that manage upgrading/downgrading extant apps. A five second search for "app downgrader" will do you wonders.

I tried app downgrader and i select the APK file for the app and the install button doesnt work like i click it and nothing happens do i need to root my phone?

As @PeloyGeek suggested, you could try to find an older APK of the app (APK is an app package, it's like the android equivalent of an executable file) online. Make sure it's from a reputable source.
