i had this same issue as well. There are several power options you can find an disable in your BIOS.
Look through your BIOS carefully and find them all and disable things that call out "Power on When" type options.
I also just switched to setting my computer to hibernate instead of shutting down and that works just as well.

I would set it to hibernate rather than letting i run 24/7.
Hibernate is essentially like shutting it down.

To hibernate? What OS are you using?
It should have an option when selecting your power off options:

  • Shutdown
  • Reset
  • Hibernate

windows 10

I downloaded a program called Shell for Windows 10 which gives the OS a GUI like Windows 7.
So, I'm actually not entirely sure the layout of windows 10.

Reset as in hit the power button when you want to use it again?

You'd have to turn hibernate on in the control panel power options for windows 10. It's off by default.

I am a paid professional, but only when I am at work...and getting paid.
