Kaby Lake Architecture

Go to solution Solved by 2FA,

Not really any details other than it basically be a Skylake refresh with some enhancements. Nothing too exciting and won't be a game changer. Intel really only increases performance by 5-10% each generation. I wouldn't worry about it because there is always something new right around the corner.

so i've been planning a build recently and i wanted to ask that does any one know anything about the kaby lake processors or is that still whisper-in-the-air kind a scene

i don't know i thought it was going to launch this year and mabye we'll see some motherboard refreshes like we saw with the x99 ones

here's my build by the way

Hopefully availability and price will match for the 6600K if we're getting Kaby Lake around Q3 '16.

I would love to get an i5 6600K for like a discount of $50+
