Modding itch, looking for suggestions.

Alright folks I am looking for some feedback here on the next project I undertake.

I have had to put my major projects on the back burner due to an ass ton of bills cropping up recently (cheers family) however I still have an itch to do some modding so I thought lets see what people want to see happen.

The plan, complete case overhaul with a budget case to make it reasonable.

Only conditions are the case must be available within Australia (I care not where the retailer is i'll be looking at about $40-$50 postage on any case so it doesn't matter), and some ideas on what people would like to see.

The more budget and terrible the case the better imo, SFF or full tower doesn't matter either (if I go full tower I'm curious to try fit a bunch of rads in).

So LTT Forum, what would you like to see?

Making a badass computer and implementing a self-destruct button for it :) Every great genius does that to his plans ;)

But I guess you want something real ;) Then pick and choose between these :)

1) Build a army build with AA flak on the top, military colour scheme and an epic custom made Battlefield around it using tin soldiers :)

2) Build a Sci-fi build with awesome white and blue lightning effects, White and blue colour scheme and the whole case looking like a spaceship :)

3) Build a Navy build with a Marine blue colour scheme, custom waterfalls down the sides coming from a spring on the top and it being shaped like U-boat :D

4) Make a Frankenstein build with a Green colour scheme, It being shaped like Frankensteins head and it having lightning effects which simulates a stereotypical scary night in movies with lightning and lost of on and off power with the LEDs :)

That is my brain storm :)

Making a badass computer and implementing a self-destruct button for it  :) Every great genius does that to his plans  ;)

Haha I like the self destruct button, I can make it a functional one as well quite easily. Only issue I could see with that would be implementing a timer so you can gtfo (suppose if I rigged up a circuit to the ram sticks from a molex connector and attached magnesium strips to the ram heat spreader... The strips run up to a modified case roof filled with thermite...

Damnit why would you guys incite my pyrotechnic ways like that, its all too simple as well (I could make it actually explosive rather than just burning to the ground but that would be ever so slightly dangerous.

I was honestly thinking of some fantasy build with a dragon (ideally a dragon perched on a rock with the components inside the rock and pwr led's are the dragons eyes. Air flow would be the issue with that though (The actual case would be surprisingly easy to make once a mould was made just cast it with fibre glass).

However I was intending to mod a case so time to go shitty case shopping (or maybe I should try turn some common household item into a case).

Now to raid the shed and see what I have about (aside from an old imac shell that is rather tempting except that I have already preped it to become a fish tank).

Would make for a pretty sick build.

Add a screen to it similar to what Logan and his crew did and you would have a rather legendary portable pc.
