hi there,

so this morning i turned on my pc and immediately noticed that everything was lagging pretty hard, windows opened in slow motion and games were completely unplayable.

checked everything because i wanted to know what the fuck was wrong and various benchmarks showed abnormally high values for the cpu....

wouldnt even do the integer calculations in passmark, probably too high of a value

when i restarted the pc everything was normal again.

anyone got a clue what happened? any input would be highly appreciated.

Windows is stupid sometimes.

I consider it a miracle that it ever works (OS's are extremely complicated pieces of software), so I accept that it bugs out sometimes.

If it happens again, then you can worry.

most likely a temporary os glitch, if it happens again then restart. it's happened a lot to my old laptop which was why I switched it out. but if it keeps on happening, then do a fresh install of windows.

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.
