Graphics card: GTX 580
OS: Win 7 (64 bit) SP1
CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme 990X
Motherboard:
        Manufacturer: MEDIONPC
        Model:MS-7522 (CPU 1)
BIOS:
    Brand: American Megatrends Inc.
    Version: A7522MLN.206
    Date: 15.09.2010

No software or hardware modifications were done prior to the problem.

My initial problem was that I'd get a BSOD instantly upon start-up.
Removing all Nvidia drivers using DDU enabled me to boot my PC normally again without any issues. Then I tried to install the latest driver ( 365.19 ) and I got artifacts (green dotted lines) all over the screen. Installing an older driver ( 364.72 ) didn't change anything either.

It appears that there are no artifacts on the screen only if there are no graphic drivers installed.

Tried to stress test the card using FurMark, but doesn't work without drivers due to OpenGL requirements.
So I decided to reinstall the latest driver to get a test done despite the artifacts, but FurMark won't even start because it cannot initialize 'ZoomGPU'.

I should also mention that when the latest driver is installed Windows shows error 43 when looking at the graphics card in the hardware window and I cannot go past a resolution of 1600x1200

Is it certain that my GPU is damaged?

Thanks in advance!

I installed the 361.91 as suggested and got the previous BSOD problem.

I ran DDU again, booted normally and fetched the dump and did the performance monitoring

here's the BSOD dump

and here's the perfmon report

368.22 gives me artifacts as well

tried 361.43 because somebody said that all drivers past 361.75 cause issues. Also got a BSOD upon start-up

did sfc /scannow - no problem

memtest86+ - all three sticks in at the same time; 9 passes, 0 errors

I reinstalled 368.22 and started to run driver verifier.

My plan was to start up some games and run cinebench to help driver verifier to throw a BSOD, but I noticed the following which may help with the diagnosis.

Running games that require any version of directx is impossible. Kinda makes sense because windows shows me the error code 43 ( windows has stopped this device because it reported problems)

Rip graphics card?
