What is more important: M.2 (Means I would continue to use my Raijintek Triton until I can go custom) or a custom-ish loop (something from EK), meaning I sell my Triton and don't get M.2 for a while

unless the m.2 is NVME your just wasing money because of ACHI limitaions

you could get the EKWB Predator and slowly expand your loop to your gpu (what i would do)

Should I first try and buy a M.2 SSD (Im my case a Samsung 950 Pro) or buy something like an EK Preaditor and expand later? If I have the M.2 I will hang onto my current cooler for a while and if I get watercooling my current cooler is going bye-bye

that's up to you - what are your priorities?

both of them are kind of a luxury not necessity
