Hi! I'm in my final year of high school, so I have to look for a college and a career (i'm not in the USA btw)

Right now i'm between two:

- Engineering in Electronics Design and Intelligent Systems

Is kinda focused on designing, programming and producing microcontrollers (and microprocessors), embebbed systems. Solve problems using classic, modern and intelligent control theory and all that stuff.

Also it gives me the chance to work later on investigation, something that I really like.

In a nutshell: Telecommunications, Calculus, Analog and digital Electronics, Circuits, Digital Systems, Control Theory, Design of: PCB & CMOS, Programming and finally Microprocessors and microcontrollers.

But this is a relative new career. It's really interesting for me but I would like your opinion

Also there's:

- Engineering in Mechatronics

This one offers a "specialization area" either Robotics, Biomedic, Automotive or productivity.

I think this one is more common, I don't think it need a lot of explanation.

In a nutshell:Calculus, Hidraulics, Programming, CAD, Mechanics, PLC's, Control Theory and digital control, CIM.

What would you recommend between those two? I heard that Mechatronics has a lot of content and you need to focus (specialization area) on something instead of trying everything.

Thoughts? Thanks and sorry for the awful english, i'm trying :P
