Hello,

I'm considering on building a budget gaming PC, but I'm not entirely sure how good this is. Could someone tell me how good this is?

AMD Athlon X4 860K Kaveri Quad-Core 3.7 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W AD860KXBJABOX Desktop Processor (BLACK EDITION)

ASUS A68HM-K FM2+ AMD A68H FCH (Bolton D2H) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

1TB WD-Blue HDD

8GB DDR3-1600 Crucial RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 950 DirectX 12 02G-P4-1950-KR 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0

EVGA 430W PSU

Any idea how good this'll be in everyday tasks and gaming? Let me know! Thanks!

Regards.

What are you referring as to case? You mean the PC case? If so, Xion Performance microATX USB 3.0 Tower Case.

The 845 does marginally better than the 860k, so went with that.

Is the 750 TI better than the 950?

With GTA 5 being the most demanding game you listed, and the others being comparatively non-demanding, like 1080p 30FPS on low.-med.? Keep in mind, I tend to under estimate the capacity of things usually.

That's kind of a tough question to answer. We could point you to a review of the GTX 950, but that's reviewed using a pretty high-end processor. We could point you to a review of the Athlon X4 845, but it'll be benchmarked with a high-end GPU. But going with that, the GTX 950 appears to perform at least 30FPS in most games made in 2015 or before at 1080p on high quality settings.

For everyday tasks, almost any processor is "pretty good" for that job these days.

could you possibly hold out a little bit longer, just 1 or 2 hundred more dollars can make a huge difference in performance
