Hey guys, I've been having a problem with my desktop where every time I turn it on, I have to go to

the device manager then uninstall one of the high definition audio device drivers and then restart

my computer in order for the audio to work.  I used the Intel driver installation thing but I've still been

trying to figure out what the problem is.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what would be causing this?

I'm too impatient to continue doing what I have to do now.  Thanks in advance, Cj

Make sure you have the right driver in the first place. Go onto the motherboard's website, go on to your board and download the driver from them. If no the audio chip is normally on the mother board behind the PCI covers and see what it says and then google it and get the correct driver. Try using the realtech audio drive if it is a gigabyte board. If there is more than one driver in device manager it could be a driver conflict.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
