Alright so  this is a rig I want to build to use for  both gaming and for my computer-intensive college course (BiioMedical Engineering),  how does it look?

It looks great! You can get a cheaper version of Windows off of certified websites.

Why do you have an optical drive? Do you actually need one?

Other than that it looks pretty solid. Hope you don't plan on running those SSD's in RAID if you're putting important stuff on them ;)

No GPU? Also, I believe that the PSU is kind of an overkill, but input that into PCPP and check the compatibility warnings etc.
