Hey guys, So, I'm looking to upgrade my modem and or router, I use Ethernet more than I do wifi and I'm a computer gamer which is what I use my internet for mostly. I'm looking for a good modem/router that's not too expensive so I can have a better internet connection. At the moment I only get one internet provider in my area and they tell me that we have the best connection possible for our area because we live out on a back road unfortunately. My Modem is out of date. I hope you guys can help me figure out how I can get a better internet connection without having to spent too much money.

You do know that your data speed is dependant on your provider right? Look at how much speed you pay for, then go to speedtest.net and see what you get. Unless you are just tired of paying to lease the modem that your ISP gives you.

Suppose to be getting 4MBs and I'm getting 2.72 Download and 0.45 Upload with 156 ping atm. With only one PC on the internet with nothing downloading in the background. I've reset the modem 3 times today and it hasn't changed and the weather is perfect.

oh man.......4MBs........wow. How do you even live with that? I bet you have a data cap too. That is brutal.
