GPU not recognized?

My gtx 950 SC from EVGA is not recognized in geforce experience and it isnt in speedfan either. The GPU runs like normal playing games normal and the fan is running too but my PC cant see what i have... Any response is appreciated.

try downloading your gpu driver from nvidia if you havent already

 

someone had a similar issue and he solved it by installing an older driver, 361.91 if im not mistaken

Can you find it in Device Manager?

Are you using a cheapy motherboard? Are your drivers up-to-date? Have you tried installing the card in a different PCIe slot(assuming your have one).

 

That's really all I can think of.

i have the latest driver. 365.19. so i downgrade to a lower driver but how would i go about doing that?

uninstall the current driver using display driver uninstaller and then download an older driver from nvidia's website (make sure it's for the right OS that you're using) and install it
