So a little of a background of me...

I've been doing video/photo editing for some time. For example made several trailers/videos for my school (currently working there), made some logos for different companies, took photos of important people i.e. ex-president, took background photos for projects i.e. "sunset-photos" etc.

I did all that work using my Samsung S6 edge+, schools crappy old camera and my parents camera ( Nikon Coolpix p610).

I would like to do more of that, i'm turning 20 soon (yaay!) and planning to buy me a camera for a present. I know very little about cameras, I just know how to use them.

So I need help in choosing camera. I would like camera that will perform good at taking photos and videos. Slow motion function and ability to do burst photos are important. Small size is always plus, but not that important. Maximum price would be 450€ (hopefully that's enough).

1. You can read through some of the guides in my signature to get an idea of what kind of cameras there are.

2. Understanding what sort of camera and what features you want in a camera is a good start.  Don't just say you want "best image quality for ### budget" because the awesomeness of the image that comes out of the camera depends on the skill of the person using it and NOT on the camera.  Otherwise, to be a world class chef one just needs to go buy the most expensive pot and pan on the market.

Think about the sensor size, or availability/functionality of lenses, file formats, etc.

What kind of slow motion are you looking to achieve, 60fps or 1,000,000fps?

What speed burst shot, how about timelapse, etc?

Buying a camera is a personal choice, figure out all the things you need and pick one that can best meet your requirement.
