I need help. Me and my friends want to make a LAN party, but we also want to have an internet connection, most of my friends will be bringing laptops so they can access the main router which is on the first floor of the house using a wifi connection(This will allow them to be on the same local network as all the other ppl with laptops). But the problem is that some of my friends will be bringing desktops and we don't have cables long enough to go through the window. Is it possible to connect the desktops with a LAN cable to the wifi repeater? Will that allow them to connect to the same network as all the other ppl with laptops?

Thank you for your time.

lan party over wireless? glhf, but i would definitely recommend buying some cheap 8 port 1 Gbit (can even be 100 mbit) switch and a 25 meter cable :) (get them second hand for the best prices)
